Appointment of Sh. Joginder Sharma as DSP in Haryana Police

Sh. Joginder Sharma whose date of birth is 23.10.1983 is a graduate from MD University, Rohtak. He is Captain of Haryana Cricket Team and was selected in Indian Team to play Twenty-20 World Cup Cricket Championship in South Africa from 11-28th Sep. 2007. He has played International Cricket for India earlier also. His sports achievements are as under:-

Ø Represented Indian Cricket Team in 2003, 2004, 2006 and 2007

Ø Played for India against India Sr. at Banglore in 2003-2004

Ø Played for Challenger Trophy at Mumbai in 2004-2005

Ø Played for Deo dhar Trophy in North Zone Team.

Ø Played for Irani Trophy (Rest of India) as a Captain against Mumbai at Mohali in 2003-2004

Ø Played Cooch Behar Trophy (under 19) from Haryana in 1999-2000 1st position in India in 2000-2001

Ø Played C.K. Nayudu Tropy (under 19) from North Zone Team in 2000-2001

Ø Played M.A. Chidambaram Trophy (under 19) from Haryana against Rest of India Team in 2000-2001

Ø Selected for National Cricket Academy (N.C.A.) Senior Group at Banglore in 2000-2001

Ø Played North Zone Inter University Cricket Championship from M.D.U Rohtak in 2000-2001

Sh. Joginder Sharma has the necessary physical and educational qualification for recruitment as Deputy Superintendent of Police. Since Sh. Joginder Sharma is an young dynamic and versatile cricketer who is leading the Haryana Cricket Team and was selected in the Indian Team to play Twenty-20 World Cup Cricket Championship in South Africa, it was be a great pride to have such an outstanding international cricketer in Haryana Police.
In view of above, he has been appointed as P/DSP by the State Govt. vide their memo. No. 2/16/2007-IHGI dated 4.9.2007. He has joined on 5.10.2007 and has been further deputed for his Basic Training at Haryana Police Academy, Madhuban.
